Humpty Doo Barramundi is a family owned producer and distributer of premium Australian saltwater barramundi.
You'll find us on the remote banks of the Northern Territory's majestic Adelaide River, halfway between Darwin and Kakadu, the spiritual home of the barramundi. Bordered by lush mangroves and a pristine tidal river, the farm nestles into a tropical landscape that provides the perfect environment for growing saltwater barramundi.
Our distinctive silver barramundi is the result of our ideal growing environment, continuous research and working with our customers for more than 20 years. From the humble beginnings of a 300 kg annual harvest, the business has grown to become one of the largest producers of salt water barramundi in Australia. Hand sorting has given way to a state-of-the-art fish sorting and packing facility with custom-designed chiller room. Our harvest techniques align with our quality assurance models to ensure our premium quality fish are distributed Australia wide, every week, in the best condition.
Our farm is positioned on the site of the historic Humpty Doo Rice Project and signs of that heritage remain in the form of old pumping station, rice fields and channels.
